About the Sport Runabouts Series
The great advantage of these inflatable boats is their lightweight-to-size ratio, incredible buoyancy, efficiency, and stowability. Because they're completely inflatable, portable, and packable, stowability is increased and the overall hull weight is reduced by nearly 25% with the rigid, high-pressure, inflatable drop stitch floors.
They also reduce the storage footprint by 50% because you no longer have to deal with large heavy and bulky wooden or aluminum floorboards. Making these boats truly practical as a tender, to carry in an RV or SUV, or even simply stow below deck.

5.0 out of 5 stars. (10)Purchased my 12.6 used in early 2024 along with a Suzuki 20. First used it in May of that year. My Wife and I have used it regularly on Lake Michigan, the Black River and The Kalamazoo River out of South Haven and Saugatuck, MI. We love it. Dealing with the folks at Sea Eagle was a pleasure. Delivery was quick and everything arrived safe and sound. With the 20 HP this thing is fast and stable. Lake MI can get choppy with rolling waves from the big boys and, as expected, this will beat you up if you don’t slow down for them. But on the smoother days man can this thing fly. It is also great for just putting up and down the river. We’ve put 4 folks in it but find it best when it’s just the 2 of use. We took out the front seat and picked up a couple stadium seats to sit on the floor. Works great and real comfy. We are both 73 but have been able to get it into our pickup for major moves. A used Harbor Freight trailer with plywood has worked perfect for moving it around. We highly recommend this product.
Wind gust of 60 knots reported by bridge of lions operator while a boat bounced through the mooring field and collected our sea eagle and missing our boat by feet. As we watched the sailboat get caught in the corner of the bridge and the swelled lifted and crashed the boat into our poor sea eagle and the concrete. We knew we would need to buy another dinghy. When the storm let up, I used the paddle board to see what I could salvage.
show full review ▼The service is excellent. I'm taking it out for the first time this year. It sat for almost a year in my garage filled with air and stayed full. I strongly recommend Sea Eagle products.
Two photos added to my previous text only review. Photos were taken on a quiet day of Lake Ontario, waves at ~0.1-0.2 meters. A 0.5-1.0 meter wave on Lake Ontario is quite normal. My 12.6sr riding could be choppy but exciting on those days.

The outside drop stitch inflatable keel provides several unique performance benefits. First, it creates the ability to turn sharply and precisely in any direction. This is a true benefit when coming to a dock or motoring in crowed harbors. The inflatable drop stitch keel also provides extra buoyancy at the bow allow this boat to ride over waves rather than plowing through waves. This same feature in combination with large rear rounded tubes helps these transom boats get up on a plane far faster. Unlike other transom boats with an inside inflatable keel the overall performance of our Sea Eagle transom boats are far more precise, responsive, and stable in all sea conditions.
