About the Sport Runabouts Series
The great advantage of these inflatable boats is their lightweight-to-size ratio, incredible buoyancy, efficiency, and stowability. Because they're completely inflatable, portable, and packable, stowability is increased and the overall hull weight is reduced by nearly 25% with the rigid, high-pressure, inflatable drop stitch floors.
They also reduce the storage footprint by 50% because you no longer have to deal with large heavy and bulky wooden or aluminum floorboards. Making these boats truly practical as a tender, to carry in an RV or SUV, or even simply stow below deck.
These tough rugged inflatable boats feature high-pressure rigid inflatable drop stitch floors - making them lighter, easier to set up, less expensive to motor, and far more portable.

4.8 out of 5 stars. (16)After researching many different brands of inflatable boats in the spring and early summer of 2022 I decided to purchase the 10.6sr from Sea Eagle. I based my decision on favorable reviews, product quality and construction, innovative design, and a longer warranty than most other inflatables on the market. I used the boat with a 9.9 hp motor for 3 months in 2022 and it performed very well. I use the 10.6sr on rivers and inland lakes in my home state of Michigan. So far I have experienced no problems whatsoever. It's difficult to give a complete assessment of the boat since I used it for only a short time but I feel I won't be disappointed. My only complaint is that I couldn't receive the free electric pump which wasn't available at the time of purchase.
We just finished packing away our 10.6SR into the bowels of our motorhome. The borrowed motor impeller failed on day 2 and boating was cut short, still this effort was a success. We look forward to our next adventure.
show full review ▼Awesome boat. Second one I've bought from SEA Eagle. First one got used a couple dozen times each summer for 15 years in lakes, rivers, bays, & even coastal waters. Rides & planes easily. Great for camping trips & fishing! Can dock & tie it up almost anywhere. Perfectly paired with a 10 horse outboard. Love this boat!!!
We love our SeaEagle! The only issue I had was getting the bottom cleaned after leaving it in salt water for the season. Should I paint the bottom for next season?

We have been selling Sea Eagle Sport Runabouts since 1997. Since then they have been tested in all sorts of conditions around the world. They have been taken around Long Island (300 miles each trip) multiple times in seas varying from dead flat calm to 10 - 12 foot ocean waves in violent thunder storms. They've been used on the Yangtze River and on the Indian continent for fire and flood rescue work. The outside drop stitch inflatable keel provides several unique performance benefits. First, it creates the ability to turn sharply and precisely in any direction. This is a true benefit when coming to a dock or motoring in crowded harbors. The inflatable drop stitch keel also provides extra buoyancy at the bow allow this boat to ride over waves rather than plowing through waves. This same feature in combination with large rear rounded tubes helps these transom boats get up on a plane far faster. Unlike other transom boats with an inside inflatable keel the overall performance of our Sea Eagle transom boats are far more precise, responsive, and stable in all sea conditions.
Rigid High Pressure Inflatable Drop Stitch Floor
Our high-pressure rigid inflatable drop stitch floors provide excellent rigidity, structural strength, and added flotation at a fraction of the weight. The weight saving in a 10.6sr is 31 lbs., in a 12.6sr 34 lbs., and in a 14sr 41 lbs. This is very important if you are a yacht owner looking for a super lightweight and easy-to-handle tender. This same feature is equally important to motorhome owners, fishermen, and recreational boaters who want less weight and faster setup times.
