The vinyl and the valves used hold it air in very well I have a dock and I injured my back and I left the boat on the dock for about three months with a cover and it did not lose very much air in fact I move the boat with the air in it to its winter location. I find that the team at sea eagle were very cooperative and easy to get a hold of so my questions were answered as they came up. If you need a portable reasonably priced kayak This will be the One good luck
This boat was my answer to kayaking without having a truck or roof rack.
I’m a senior citizen, and upper body strength is not great. So having a kayak in a bag I can easily inflate and get to the water was key.

Not only is it remarkably versatile for individualized fun, it saved me from 2' of muck and an aggressive tree all alone in a MO lake by Not flipping over and I was able to pull myself out to safety. The skegs on the bottom give great tracking on breezy days for efficient paddling. The seat inflation creates an optimum center of gravity for almost any size person. The independent chambers give me a sense of safety that some part of this kayak is going to stay afloat in the unlikely event of air loss. The material is so durable, I've enjoyed mine for 10 years and counting. I recommend it to all the people who continuously ask me about it. Get one! You won't regret it.
I like these kayaks but they are impossible to use in windy conditions. It’s just to difficult to keep the wind from turning the boat sideways.
