Sea Eagle SE 330 Inflatable Kayaks and Canoe Reviews

Absolutely love my kayak, I just bought my second boat so I can have a friend join me. The most comfortable kayak out there. Really built for one person (and child, essentials, and dog ) comfortably. Easy to navigate and control. Not as tippy as a rigid kayak. Easy to inflate or deflate. My first kayak came with a carry bag (worth the additional cost) but not this one. I purchased a extra large bag from Amazon as it would be difficult handling or storage, With a large bag (xlarge hockey bag), you can also store your paddle, life jacket, water shoes, repair kit, pump, seats, rope and first aid. I have compared but prefer Sea Eagle. Used in the Florida keys, the lakes in Ontario and the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in New Brunswick - you can take it anywhere! I highly recommend. Also recommend one kayak per person (for this model)

I purchased my Sea Eagle in March of 2020 after extensive research to find an inflatable kayak that was highly rated for dogs. My adventure girl-Jessie and I got through the pandemic of 2020 by paddling many of the lakes here in Arizona. I always tell people my kayak is really Jessie's boat and I'm just the captain. Every time we kayak people always look at my Sea Eagle in wonder and ask what type of kayak it is and how I like it. By now, I could be a Sea Eagle informercial. The kayak skin is exceptionally thick and strong and can easily handle a 60 lb canine companion. It inflates and deflates rather quickly and does not lose air. The one-way valves used on the Sea Eagle are well thought out and not like the cheap valves you find on a raft. Being tall, I purchased the Deluxe seat and it is SO comfortable and the higher back really helps with that comfort. Having 2 skegs on the bottom are great with tracking although it would be great if the skegs were removeable as they tend to bend.

Overall good. However, customer support seems non-existent. I sent two queries over a few months without a reply. The problem is with the inflation ruler. The lines never match up, so one doesn't know what the proper inflation is.

I love this kayak. I take it on lakes in NM and CO. Fits me and my two small kids perfectly. Fills up easily, easy to carry and cart around. I will probably buy a bigger one at some point. I love this kayak so much, so worth the money.
