I am officially of retirement age, and not as strong as I once was. So I find the FSK16 plenty heavy, but on a dolly it is very easy. I also have the Easy Cart from Sea Eagle, but most of the time the dolly is even easier, and that is how I store it - strapped to the dolly. My inspiration for an inflatable is I just have a 20 year old Camry. So I added a cargo carrier on the back and that makes transporting the FishSkiff a breeze. I use both the an electric pump on the bottom, and then a hand pump on the two sides and I find I can pump up the sides in the time it takes to pump up the bottom. It seems sturdy and rugged. In a wind, you can get pushed around as there is no keel or rudder in the water, but even with my 3HP electric outboard I can cruise a fishing lake at about 5.5mph. I may want to raise the height of my seat one day, but the seats are comfortable. I took the precaution of rein-enforcing the underside of the seat with a good amount of epoxy - I am not small. Over all - thumbs up.

My friend and I both have the FSK16, and we are both really impressed. We use it primarily on the Little Red River in AR, and it is perfect. Well thought out, stable, and plenty of room for 2 fishermen. The only question is how long it will hold up, but for now, 5 stars for sure.

I have owned the FSK16 nearly two years. I got the Green Machine package but upgraded to the WaterSnake Advance brushless electric motor of 70-lb thrust. It pushes my FSK along at 5mph at 3/4 throttle; which tht close to the water is moving along briskly. That came with the solar panel that has worked flawlessly. I also got the canopy with custom grommets for the solar panel. I also added the third seat. This is my second Sea Eagle. The first was a grey foldcat 375. The FSK16 has met and exceded all expectations so much so that I have outgrown it. I will be selling it soon and based on the attention it gets at the ramp, it will probably go for top dollar. My next Sea Eagle will be the FC14.4. The seats are more separated and it will more closely simulate the enjoyment I got on a pontoon boat. I strongly recommend Sea Eagle and their sales staff (especially Silvia) was a joy to work with.

Ordered our FKS16 last October. Due to Covid it was back ordered until January of 2022. During back order time the Sea Eagle staff was very professional and helpful. We purchased the FKS16 to take to the coast while camping on the sound in our Fifth Wheel camper. Inflation with the two stage pump is flawless. Once inflated using the heavy duty Sea Eagle cart makes the boat easy to maneuver to and from the water. So, have taken the Sea Eagle out several times in the sound while camping. Everything has been great so far. The Mercury 6hp has worked great. Plains quickly with two people and will run 16 mph. Goes in as low as 6” of water. For my wife and I it’s perfect so far. Plenty of room. Very stable to stand up and fish. Deflated and packed; it actually fits in the back seat of my 2020 Chevrolet crew cab. Hears a picture of it out at the sound where we stopped to let the dog go potty. Thanks to Sea Eagle for all their help answering questions. Would recommend to anyone else thinking about purchasing. Teddy

The skiff has been great for fly fishing in Arkansas. two people can fish all day and not get tired. It is incredibly quiet compared to metal or fiberglass boat

I love this skiff, a little difficult inflating and launching at site but very stable and maneuverable on the water

Great fishing boat. Took it down to Cocodrie, LA last May for reds and speckled trout, then up on Green Bay, WI, and other lakes in Wisconsin. Solid as a rock, and just glides on the water with my 5 HP Mercury. Good investment, and able to pack into my Kia Sportage. I have used SeaEagle boats now for 20 years, and always happy with them.

Engineering Marvel! The rigidity of the skiff and stability on the water is like no other. I have fished in very small to larger boats and until your on this Skiff it's hard to imagine an inflatable performing and exceeding the performance of a rigid hull craft. We typically fish 3 people and even though it's not considered a craft for rough water it performed very well when a storm suddenly blew in and the wind went from 5-10 mph to 20-25 mph in a matter of minutes. There was never the concern or feeling the skiff would flip or roll. What I did learn was a gas motor would have allowed us to manuever and cut through the wakes better plus get off the water quicker. With 3 adults extending above a low profile boat you create a lot drag in a windy situation and a trolling motor is not going to plane a 16ft craft with 3 adults. This incident was one of my biggest concerns when buying this Skiff because I knew this would eventually happen but we felt safe were safe and we will continue to enjoy our skiff.
