We love our FastTrack. It inflates quickly, is comfortable to sit in and is easy to paddle. The best part is that it can fit our entire family plus our dog.

My only complaint is that the rear center skeg mount failed shortly after the three year warranty and will no longer hold the removable Skeg in place. Without it, the kayak no longer tracks but just spins around and around.

Tried our new paddleski June 1, 2020 , for the first time. Impressed with the quality of materials , attachments, and handle grabs. The foot pump easily inflates it in minutes, really don't need an electric pump ! The high back seats are of great quality, giving good back support. I feel like the 4 piece paddles though need to be longer. Very good stability, think anyone would feel safe on it, yet paddles easily through the water. In stowing, the paddleski deflated and rolls up easily into its storage tote. Would recommend to anyone! Ok

3 stars because of the inflatable keel. It's a pain when trying to paddle upstream as the water catches it and spins the boat. A couple times I've reversed the seats and paddled it backwards as that was the only way I could get up the creek. The keel also drags in shallow water. I've got hung up several times when flat bottom boats go right through. The keel needs to be removable.

It's too long for 1 person in fast water but on flat water, 1 person can handle it easily. With 2 in the boat, it's much more manageable. We have yet to try it with 3. We got the 465 so we could take the grandkids but haven't done that yet. Last week end, I soloed it on a float with a scout troop. We floated a fast moving creek with over 100 sharp turns. There wasn't any white water but the current was strong and there were lots of sand bars. It was hard to keep it out of the brush and rocks by myself in the current. For a solo, a shorter boat would be better.

If it wasn't for that keel, it would be 5 stars easily.

This is a replacement kayak for a 465 FT that we had. The previous kayak had manufacturing defects that occurred after the warranty had expired. The seams of the pontoons started coming apart and the keel also leaks. Theses repairs were so severe show full review ▼ that they were not repairable.

that they were not repairable.

SO, I am not as comfortable with my new kayak and hope the modifications in the manufacturing process prolongs the life of my kayak past the warranty period.

Send me a review form a year after the warranty expires.
