More than a local pond.

The 465ft allowed us to pack it, move it and enjoy it. We recently spent a week in Sarasota FL and crossed Little Sarasota Bay on a Saturday! Large wakes were no problem for us and we were able to get to semi secluded Turtle Beach. Coolers and other accessories fit into the kayak with ease. We love this kayak!

We love our Sea Eagle 465FT! My wife thought I was crazy when I ordered it. Since then we have had several trips on Lake Champlain and the islands as well as other inland lakes. Holds all of our camping gear for 2 adults and a 3 year old boy. I get lots of looks when pumping it up on shore. But this thing inflates with the foot pump in less than 5 minutes. Add the seats and strap the dry bags and we are off in 15 minutes. Take down and fold up is even faster. I pack it loose in the Subaru and clean it at home. Very safe feeling on the water and moves pretty quickly. Would be tough to tip this thing. I was concerned that it had no rudder for steering but that turned out to be a non issue. Very maneuverable and tracks straight. Only complaint is the spacing of the grommets on the sides. The middle seat can't be positioned further back because of the locations of the fasteners. Will probably add some straps as the kid grows. Otherwise I totally love this boat.

We love our Sea Eagle Kayak, it's so easy and fast to set up and take down, inflation is super fast. We were missing a clip for the rear fin and they sent it right away, great customer service!! This size fits us both comfortably with our dog and cat with extra room for gear & food.

We have taken our SeaEagle around the US and used in various situations. It's easy to inflate and set up and versatile. Although we did somehow put a small hole in the hull on rocks, repair was relatively easy.
