Sea Eagle 10.6sr Inflatable Boat Reviews
5 Discount Packages available. starting at $1,949
After researching many different brands of inflatable boats in the spring and early summer of 2022 I decided to purchase the 10.6sr from Sea Eagle. I based my decision on favorable reviews, product quality and construction, innovative design, and a longer warranty than most other inflatables on the market. I used the boat with a 9.9 hp motor for 3 months in 2022 and it performed very well. I use the 10.6sr on rivers and inland lakes in my home state of Michigan. So far I have experienced no problems whatsoever. It's difficult to give a complete assessment of the boat since I used it for only a short time but I feel I won't be disappointed. My only complaint is that I couldn't receive the free electric pump which wasn't available at the time of purchase.
We just finished packing away our 10.6SR into the bowels of our motorhome. The borrowed motor impeller failed on day 2 and boating was cut short, still this effort was a success. We look forward to our next adventure.
show full review ▼Awesome boat. Second one I've bought from SEA Eagle. First one got used a couple dozen times each summer for 15 years in lakes, rivers, bays, & even coastal waters. Rides & planes easily. Great for camping trips & fishing! Can dock & tie it up almost anywhere. Perfectly paired with a 10 horse outboard. Love this boat!!!
We love our SeaEagle! The only issue I had was getting the bottom cleaned after leaving it in salt water for the season. Should I paint the bottom for next season?
You can't beat the Sea Eagle!
Quality as good as the "big name" but at less cost.
I have had a blast running about the saltwater bays of San Diego as well as the fresh water reservoirs. I hang a 9.9 Mercury on the transom, originally thinking I'd rather a 15 HP, but the 9.9 gets me going with all the speed I would ever need. Originally I was inflating the boat for use and deflating and storing after, however that was too time consuming so now have it on a trailer and installed a hitch on my SUV. All in all I have thoroughly enjoyed my trouble free Sea Eagle. I also have had great communication with Sea Eagle, a big shout out to Sylvia!

Love the boat. I took it with me last summer on a 5000 mile RV trip. Cruises with my grandson, granddaughter, and wife on the St Croix River.
The boat is well made and performed as expected. It is much heavier than other inflatables I have owned and is somewhat difficult to roll up so that is will fit back int the storage bag. After several tries and a call to Seaeagle for advice my folding technique is getting better.
show full review ▼This is our second purchase of a Sea Eagle SR 10.6 inflatable with rigid floor. We purchased our first in 2012 and had issues with the glue and contacted the customer service dept. We were cruising and in Florida and needed it replaced ASAP. We sent pics of the issue and they shipped one to us at the marina we were moored, and we returned the original purchase in the same box. Seamless switch and absolutely amazing customer service. We used this boat during 3 full years on the water cruising Florida and the Bahamas without a single issue. It performed perfectly in all kinds of conditions and had no issues with "landings" despite a PVC hull on the countless rocks, shells and coral it beached on. The sun has started to destroy the material, so we have purchased another just like it for our next adventure this fall back to Florida and the Bahamas. This time it will be coated with dingy chaps to help with the effects of the brutal sun exposure.
The boat is difficult to fold up and impossible to store in one of the basement compartments of my motor home. I have purchased and modified a PWC trailer to fit it. This doesn't solve the issue of taking it along with us when traveling as we usually have the flat tow vehicle behind and/or sometimes the golf cart. I like everything else about the boat and the great grand kids loved it.
