The skiff has been great for fly fishing in Arkansas. two people can fish all day and not get tired. It is incredibly quiet compared to metal or fiberglass boat
Only had the opertunity to use it once in 2021 but the 2 grandsons thought it was great.
I love this skiff, a little difficult inflating and launching at site but very stable and maneuverable on the water

Great fishing boat. Took it down to Cocodrie, LA last May for reds and speckled trout, then up on Green Bay, WI, and other lakes in Wisconsin. Solid as a rock, and just glides on the water with my 5 HP Mercury. Good investment, and able to pack into my Kia Sportage. I have used SeaEagle boats now for 20 years, and always happy with them.
Engineering Marvel! The rigidity of the skiff and stability on the water is like no other. I have fished in very small to larger boats and until your on this Skiff it's hard to imagine an inflatable performing and exceeding the performance of a rigid hull craft. We typically fish 3 people and even though it's not considered a craft for rough water it performed very well when a storm suddenly blew in and the wind went from 5-10 mph to 20-25 mph in a matter of minutes. There was never the concern or feeling the skiff would flip or roll. What I did learn was a gas motor would have allowed us to manuever and cut through the wakes better plus get off the water quicker. With 3 adults extending above a low profile boat you create a lot drag in a windy situation and a trolling motor is not going to plane a 16ft craft with 3 adults. This incident was one of my biggest concerns when buying this Skiff because I knew this would eventually happen but we felt safe were safe and we will continue to enjoy our skiff.
Everyone on the lake wanted to know where to get one. I’m very upset tho. I purchased the boat and had it stored, like many people would. I went online to see what engine capacity the boat was rated for. Learned that it was rated for 10hp. So, I purchased a 9.9hp motor for more power. Then put the boat together to find the transom states 6hp max. I called SeaEagle to get the truth and learned they changed the transom. My boat was only 3 or so months old and it was already outdated.

I received my Fishing Skiff 16 “Green Machine” in 8 boxes. All the boxes appeared in damaged, but when I put the skiff together I found damage to the transom and discovered the handle cover missing. I also thought the canopy was too wide for the skiff, but learned that it was the correct one. They have shipped me the replacement handle cover promptly. They were out of the transmits and will ship me a new one when they are back in stock. Meanwhile they said just use the damaged transom until my replacement arrives and offered me store credit as compensation for my inconvenience with out my asking for it. The staff is helpful I couldn’t ask fro better service. I am waiting for my wife’s next day off to take the skiff out. We have named our skiff “Quality Time v2.0”. Having had a 25’ sail boat by the name “Quality Time.” Because it has a motor I had to register it in California. I am trying to figure out the best method of putting the registration number on the tubes. Great staff support!
Took the boat out for the first time a couple weeks ago and worked great, was just missing the padded handle cover that was supposed to come in the orange Patch container, emailed about it a few weeks ago, hadn’t heard back. It would help for show full review ▼ moving it around

We have setup the Fish Skiff once in our living room and twice on two lakes. It performed exceptionally well cruising and crossing wakes. We enjoyed fishing, even though the fish didn't cooperate. We even velcroed a fish finder to the rear of the boat. It will work very well for us!
I love it very compact for the size sturdy on the water. I recommend a good air pump for this boat.
