Sea Eagle STS10 Inflatable Fishing Boat Reviews

My experience with has been exceptional. I had a 285fpb which I kept for a long time, which I enjoyed. As time went on, I needed a more secure boat (paralyzed diaphram) which I found in the STS10. I taken it out once (it has been too cold) and now that warmer weather is here I expect to use it more. Through dealing with the Staff with the 285fpb and the STS10 has been a pleasure. They were helpful and informative. The shipping was outstanding and I was able to take some of the discounts available. I look forward to summer!
’ve had my Stealth Stalker for seven months and have taken it out on the water many times. Overall I am pleased with the boat in regards to my particular needs. As a new angler in the upper Midwest who has just gotten into bass fishing (without a trailer or a truck) it’s very handy to pack the boat away. The amazing stability is a huge plus for me. I consider this my “starter” boat, and when practical I will get a trailer for it that my smaller vehicle can tow.show full review ▼
It fits in a sedan! I have a Hyundai Elantra and was able to pack it into the back with the seats folded down without an issue. I spent my budget for my vacations that got cancelled by corona on this and it got me through the lockdown summer. It’s comfortable enough for two people but gets a little tight with a cooler. With 3 people I’d take out the front or both seats. The wood floor makes it feel a lot more stable than my parents dinghy with the inflatable floor. You do need a wind sock to stay in one place if you’re trying to fish over one spot.
Well designed and functional boat, but two complaints. First, the oars are useless- I use them as paddles. You've got to address this. Make the oarlock more stable, maybe make the oars a bit longer, limit the vertical play. This is a serious deficiency. Secondly, there's a lack of legroom when turning in the chair for a tall guy like me (I'm 6'4''); it's even caused cramping in my upper leg/butt. Probably 2'' more width on each side would make all the difference. Customer service was great when I called about an issue while setting up. Didn't get all the hardware and had to wait for second shipment of that after what had already been a long wait because you were back-ordered. So missed 6 weeks of prime fishing season.
