Purchased a 380 some time ago as I was looking into more white water with some overnight trips mixed in. I'm a big guy and always run solo. Found as I started into class III white water that I need thigh straps. Purchased a set from Sea Eagle that were for my boat. I could not figure out where to attach, looked thru the site with no luck. The straps are to short I ended up extending them almost 24'' and attaching the behind the seat. The pads are not movable and don't fit well but they do work now. Would not purchase straps again.

Being a solo paddler it would be nice if there was a way to build my own package.

Otherwise, I love my boat. Terry

I had my first 380 for just over 20 years. The new one we have has performed quite well. The new model tracks better and therefore gets along a little quicker than its predecessor. I attribute that to the redesigned skag. The skag is much easier to attach. We really enjoy our new kayak.

We were in Florida and it was delivered very quickly! Very nice looking construction and feels very durable. Easy to inflate with the standard pump. It was very rigid and paddled great. We wanted a kayak we could store in our Roadtrek camper van and since we also have a bike rack on the outside, a foldable was a great option. We will be staying at a number of parks in Florida and other states. The Sea Eagle 380x will expand the opportunities and fun on our camping adventures.

This is an awesome boat, however the fin underneath randomly came off during one of our outings and we cannot find replacement. Had less than a year.
