Awesome little boat and customer service is top notch!

Perfect boat to fish small lakes. Easy to set up and take down. I use my Pacfish often.

Very portable, easy to backpack into remote lakes 4. Easy to inflate with the foot pump 5. Stable & comfortable 6. Overall good design CONS: 1. The oarlocks on my model double as handles, would prefer dedicated oarlock design 2. Not as easy to paddle as my kayak, but expected given the design of the boat

I love this little boat! I've had it out twice fishing for 4 hours each time. You can get into some really shallow backwater with show more... it. The inflatable seat is comfortable and it's easy to paddle around. I'm 5'7" and pretty heavy. Once you stretch your legs out, there's not much room for tackle boxes or other gear so the side storage pockets are very handy to have. The boat came with a leaky seat valve, but Sea Eagle replaced the faulty seat cushion. Now all is fine. The videos show an angler standing up in it while fishing, but it is just too wobbly for me trying to stand up. It fits (semi-deflated) in the back of my Rogue SUV and also fits nicely folded up in the included backpack. You can set it up in 5 minutes. The only complaint I could make is that the "flexible" hose for the pump is hard plastic and very difficult to twist on and off the valves or roll up. I am looking for a more rubbery flexible replacement. All in all 5 stars!

This boat is well made, it’s built with quality materials. I’m satisfied with the product. It is expensive, but worth the money.

I purchased the Pacfish 7 about 8 months ago. I have used it a few times on lakes. The only issue I had was on show more... the maiden voyage I almost sank. Turns out the air valves were not seated tight enough. When I got home I tightened them and after sitting overnight it still lost air. I decided to crank down on them. Since I did that I have not had any further issues. Otherwise, the boat performs well. Easy to row and pretty comfortable. Beats a flow tube in my opinion because you stay dry.

Love this boat . I use it to hike into remote Brook trout ponds in Maine !! Quality is great on the boat ! Storage show more... bag is not the quality I would like . Straps broke already . Seems are starting to open but the boat is top notch !!!

Just what I needed. The hard bottom is so helpful. I can stand to cast. Love it. I’m 5’1 and fit fine. Can stock boat show more... for all day. Love it.

Great boat, comfortable and easy to maneuver. Best of all, it's seen a lot of fish.

I love this raft. I use different oars so I had to modify the oars locks. I would love it if you made a raft show more... that was lighter for backpacking. I use this raft for day backpacking trips but a bit heavy for long overnight trips. Still what its built for a great raft.

got my sea eagle Packfish 7 pro . But this model doesn't have oar locks, only handles. Please advice how I can set up oars

The pakfish 7 is nice to fish out of if you don’t have to go far. When boat is blown up and you connect the show more... straps on bottom side of boat. It is hard to walk. The boat hits the back of your calves and the buckles cut into your shoulders. Pretty much sucks to carry like boat blown on your back.

I took my packfish7 out to the rockies fishing this past summer for a couple months. It fits fine in the sidecar of my motorcycle. show more... Easy to set up, fun to use. I've reccomended it to many people

the boat exploded on me due to tossing it in the back of my truck which I had done several times the temp did not show more... seem that hot to me but guess it was warmer then I had thought and I had failed to let the pressure way down my error I liked the boat but the rowing is just too hard the way it is designed I went to much shorter paddles and that helped but had to use bungee cords to hold the paddles in to a some what correct position I wound up giving what was left of the boat to a nephew I would like to see a much better oar hook up system for the boat and better design for rowing it a good warning in the manual in large red letters about letting air out before transport would have helped I think it was mentioned in the manual about watching pressure on hot days but I guess I read over it to fast

I have used it twice and the only small issue I have is how the oars work within the tight oar guides. I have enjoyed show more... using the PF-7.

Very happy with my Sea eagle! Easy to deflate and reinflate for a quick trip to the river. Very durable!

At first I had a hard time moving the boat efficiently; but I had the blades of my oars on opposite sides of the boat show more... than they should be. Wider part of each blade should be on bottom, SeaEagle logo on top. I use this for trolling mostly, floating down the gentle river where I live for bass and pike. It tracks very well too. Rod holders work very well, and the canvas is excellent to protect the bladders from puncture. Very comfortable seat. Wasn't expecting that! I get alot of use out of the measuring scale on the sides too. The quality is incredible. This is not a true "backpacking" boat, as I was hoping, as it is fairly heavy and hard to carry for more than a half a mile or so, but it is perfect to keep in a car or truck. I wish SeaEagle made a motor mount for it! Made in the USA too. Good visibility. Comfortable enough to spend a whole day fishing. Splurge for the floor too. Worth the price difference. Best inflatable I ever owned or saw.

I received my Packfish7 earlier this week. I had an issue with losing pressure. I checked for leaks with soapy water and found leaks at show more... both valves. Although I wrote to Sea Eagle for advice (which they answered the following day), I used the supplied valve tool and tightened both valves (which appeared to be not fully tightened). I reinflated the two chambers and it held pressure. Today was its maiden voyage. For an almost 60 year old guy it was a little tricky to get in and launch from the bank of the pond, but not too bad. Rowing was a challenge. The oars kept hitting my thighs. With nothing in the boat it’s likely easier to keep your legs flat, but with rods and tackle it’s frustrating. I tried to stand twice. Might be too old for that. Sitting was comfortable. Caught 4 bass. One was just shy of 4 lbs. All-in-all it’s a nice boat. Just have to figure out how to row it easier.

Ok. So here is my honest opinion about my Sea Eagle PF7. It get me into places I was never able to access before. Being show more... a fly fisherman, I need some room behind me to cast my line, and most places in the PNW I fish have lots of trees. Obviously. So I've been able to get to better areas, so I've been able to catch more fish as a result. It is durable so far. I have only been on small lakes and a still river, so not sure how it holds up in heavier conditions. I can fit my water bottle, lunch, and all my flies and such in the side compartments. I don't use the rod holders since I have fly rods. (No butt section) I am excited to see how it works on an overnight or a longer river trip. It paddles easy, and perfect fit for me. I am 5'10 150lb. I did notice on the bottom I have a seam that is starting to come unglued, but I think that can be touched up with some epoxy, or aqua seal. I would advise the floor board so you can stand up. Makes for great sight fishing. Paddles squeak a lot. Only downside. Packs down wel

So where do I start let’s just start I guess with if you have the money for it buy it, it was worth every penny show more... so far I’ve used it one season and I get nothing but compliments, especially with the floor board you can stand and fish for such a small craft it’s just awesome I don’t have to lug my 95 lb kyack around that I can stand in and if I wanna stop at a pond on the way home from work and fish for a bit it inflates in no time at all and I’m on the water in less than 15 mins usually I only wish I had more money to be able to try more of their crafts because I fish all the time and I love this one however I’d love to have something a little bigger I’m 6’ 235lbs and I have two things however I wish I could fix the leg room is one gripe is when paddling I have to sit on my knees also the original paddles aren’t the best either I use a kyack paddle instead as the ones that come with it are confusing to use and get in the way when fishing otherwise the craft is perfect for someone smaller than myself. 4 stars

I love this thing. Extremely portable and durable. Definitely want a bigger model later on. But for now this one works great. Awesome for anyone show more... that wants to get around the lake but still stuck on a budget.

I'm an avid Kayak/SUP angler, getting out on the water about 100 times per year. I have a dedicated sit on top 11.5' kayak for show more... inshore and big water freshwater, a SeaEagle FishSUP 126 I use for long days on the water (trolling motor) or when I take a second person with me. Then I have my (1st generation) PF7 that I use for small water - around 50-60 acres or less. There's something about the PackFish just gets me so excited when I load it in the van - I almost feel like a little kid again playing with a new toy. But out on the water it's a serious machine. The comfort, stability and stealth is unparalleled in a package so portable. I get asked SO many times to talk about the raft and a couple folks have even said they're going right out to get one themselves after giving it a quick spin. Biggest tip I give to folks who try it is to paddle backwards like a rowboat - shift your mindset away from kayaking and you'll soon develop a rhythm and can keep a steady 2.5 mph pace. Get one, you will feel so alive!

I bought the Packfish 7 on sale in February of 2019. I was not able to even get it in the water until mid summer show more... and have only used it one time. While this boat is high quality, I found it difficult to use primarily because of my age (71) and the fact that I’ve had two knee replacements on the same knee. In addition, I am 6’3”, a little to big for this model. Because I sit so low in the boat, I had great difficulty getting in and especially out of the boat. It would be impossible for me to stand. I am not complaining. Delivery was within 48-72 hours of placing order. I had conversation with customer service about a month ago regarding return policy but found that I was beyond the 180 day window. I was treated with courtesy and respect. I would like to know what if any options I have. I have been impressed with Sea Eagle from my first knowledge but I just can’t use this boat. I am exploring other models but would appreciate any input or direction. Thank you

I really love my Pack Fish 7. I'm a long time kayak paddler and fish a lot out of my kayak. I can no longer show more... load my kayak by myself because of back issues. I'm 73 years old, 5'10" and 210 lbs. I bought the Pack Fish so I could still get out to fish on my own because of it's light weight and that it easily packs up. I had a float tube prior to the Pack Fish and didn't like sitting in the water and propelling it with swim fins. I have fly fished out of this boat several times and found it very comfortable for long stretches on the water. It took a little bit to get used to rowing, but the boat tracks well and is very nimble. I'm glad I bought this boat and my wife and I are now thinking of swapping out our poly kayaks for Sea Eagle inflatable kayaks.
