I love it! Improvements to the design would include handles (like the ones in the front and back) in the middle so that it is show more... easier for 1 person to carry it.

We needed a yak to carry with us camping while towing a 5th wheel camper. Inflatable has been the ticket for us. Love the 380

I purchased the 380X in the late fall and wait to wait until the following year to use it. Over the winter, I practiced inflating, show more... deflating and putting it away. practice has paid off. About the kayak: - portability: I'm a 6'0 235lbs male in decent shape. I found carrying the bag, manageable. When inflated, it's kind of awkward to carry off the ground for long distances. On the water: - It handles smooth. Really easy to maneuver and turn -Tracking and acceleration is impressive - The stability is top tier. I was able to stand up while in the middle of the lake with ease - impressive. -I like how the paddle extension has measured markers - I got the upgraded carbon seat - Amazing back support The only critique I have is the 3 floor straps. They don't even fit to secure the drop stitch floor - they are too short. - I had to jerry-rig straps of my own to compliment the straps that were included. Overall, it's an amazing kayak.

We love our 380x. We have paddled it on many lakes here in Utah, as well as in Montana and Idaho. I do wish there show more... were carry handles on the sides and a way to attract fishing rod holders on the tops of the side pontoons. We look forward to many more wonderful days out on the water!

I have had 3 sea eagles in 40 years. Floated the Yukon, Porcupine rivers in the Yukon, as well as the Yellowstone in Montana. About show more... 200 trips on my old 380 x and still going strong. My new 380 x rocks just as hard....Thank you Sea Eagle !

26 years and 1000's of miles of river and lake journeys and I just repaired my first hole, truly one of the best quality products show more... I have ever owned. Maybe someday I'll get an updated version but not until this one finally gives up, which might not be until my kids wear it out in another 26 years!

Purchased a 380 some time ago as I was looking into more white water with some overnight trips mixed in. I'm a big guy and show more... always run solo. Found as I started into class III white water that I need thigh straps. Purchased a set from Sea Eagle that were for my boat. I could not figure out where to attach, looked thru the site with no luck. The straps are to short I ended up extending them almost 24'' and attaching the behind the seat. The pads are not movable and don't fit well but they do work now. Would not purchase straps again. Being a solo paddler it would be nice if there was a way to build my own package. Otherwise, I love my boat. Terry

I had my first 380 for just over 20 years. The new one we have has performed quite well. The new model tracks better and show more... therefore gets along a little quicker than its predecessor. I attribute that to the redesigned skag. The skag is much easier to attach. We really enjoy our new kayak.

We were in Florida and it was delivered very quickly! Very nice looking construction and feels very durable. Easy to inflate with the standard pump. show more... It was very rigid and paddled great. We wanted a kayak we could store in our Roadtrek camper van and since we also have a bike rack on the outside, a foldable was a great option. We will be staying at a number of parks in Florida and other states. The Sea Eagle 380x will expand the opportunities and fun on our camping adventures.

Built well, stable, good drain systems. Works well in both still and moving water. Love the removable skeg.

My wife and I have been renting kayaks for a while. This is our first purchase of a tandem kayak and we love it. We show more... are RVers and love the convenience of being able to deflate the yak and carry it in the back of the truck on travel days. It inflates quickly with the 12v air pump, deflates quickly. Feels very sturdy. We also have the sail option which we like. Paddle hard into the wind and then relax and let the wind carry you back. Are around great yak and great value for the money.

EXCELLENT! We bought the Sea Eagle for our 3 month, 15,000 mile, trip from Tennessee to Alaska. It was extremely easy to store, space was show more... a premium, and took no time to inflate/deflate. It maneuvered with ease around the large icebergs on the Valdez Glacier Lake. Wind came up while on Chilko Lake , BC but was no issue. Highly suggest the upgrade in seats, they were very comfortable.

I have to say that II was very pleased with my purchase of the 380x. The quality and workmanship is superb! I like how it show more... handles the inland lake that I have used in in so far. This next year, I plan on purchasing a 393rl for each of my kids so they too can enjoy the outdoors on the water. We plan on taking the boats on some rivers that we would like to explore. Stay tuned!

Excellent piece of equipment, easy to carry, stable and easy to maneuvre in water, I also bought an Onata electric pump and the fitting does show more... not adjust quite well, I have to hold it, it should be unerversal

LOVE! I have used this boat 1-3 times a week since Christmas unless the weather is crazy bad. It does great at cold temperatures. I show more... live in Idaho and really enjoyed paddling around the ice on my half-frozen river. The fabric has held up wonderfully. I've gotten in some scrapes and it hasn't torn yet. The skeg mount did crack pretty early on. I got a new one but haven't replaced it yet because I'm a little nervous about doing it. This is definitely not the fastest kayak you can buy, but it'll go the distance. It's crazy sturdy—great for gear, dogs, kids, or nervous adults. I often have a passenger paddling with me, but the majority of the time I'm paddling alone. It handles great. I have the upgraded seats, which I like. I can't speak to the sturdiness of the carrying case because I never use it. I just fold the thing up and put it in the back of my car. That's pretty much where it's lived for 8 months. Pro tip: This boat makes a great camping bed when slightly deflated.

I have used this over a couple of 5 day solo canoe wild camping trips in Scotland and Wales, with Grade II rapids, as well show more... as at a Whitewater Centre. I chose the 380x as I wanted a very tough stable kayak that could handle whitewater as well as long distances on the flat, whilst being stable and able to take lots of gear. The 380x has delivered in spades. It handled the whitewater really well, and whilst other solid canoes had to keep stopping to bail water out, the self-draining holes worked brilliantly. I just left them open for the whole of the 5 day trips, but because of the drop stitch floor, the water stays out of the way so you are not sitting in a puddle all the time. She handled really well in the rapids, and was manoeuvrable enough despite being fully loaded. We bashed into rocks and trees, with no problems, you just bounce off the rocks. She tracks well on the flat, without too much yawing. To improve: more D rings at the front, and a 'collapsable' skeg for scraping over rocky shallows.
