I took my boat down the river and immediately had holes and gashes all the down the bottom. We patched it up and after taking show more... it again, we now have punctures in the air chambers. Definitely DO NOT take this boat on any flowing water/river like it is advertised. Pretty disappointing to spend so much money and have it punctured so easily.

Great boat. The bag for the raft is cheaply made.

The boat is very sturdy and I have had some great experiences catching fish. I fish in a salt water bay and the there is show more... generally a lot of wind impact (waves and wind) thus making control of the boat a challenge. The main reason for the three star rating is the difficulty in installing the floor boards. I find myself exhausted after this process and as a result am hesitant to use the boat. Regarding the Honda motor, I strongly suggest you add a small flotation device to the wire on the kill switch. I forgot to connect this to handle one day and when I pulled the starting cord, the kill switch (key) came loose and fell to the bottom of Santa Rosa Sound. My wife, son, and I laugh now, but we spent over an hour in the water, using and under water camera and light and finally found the key. It was a mistake on my part, but now I have a flotation device attached to the wire.

The boat was great. Wish the seats were a little higher. They are hard to get out of. I am not a fan of the show more... electric motor for this boat. I am planning on buying a Mercury motor.

Well, after deciding if an inflatable was right for me I purchased the STS10. Now I am sad to say I am unhappy with the show more... boat. 1. The tiller position is mid-point in the boat 2. The rear swivel chair in positioned mid-point on the boat 3. It is very difficult to steer the boat with the tiller behind you hitting the steerer in the back 4. The internal dimensions are small. The swivel chair appears to be too large for this size boat. Sitting on the swivel feet flat on floor and legs at 90', I could not swivel to my right or left, there was no room for my legs between the inner hull wall and the edge of the swivel seat. Other then these items the boat is fine. I wish there was a showroom to actually see the boat inflated. Most likely I would have purchase a larger boat. Thank you.

Customer service was fantastic. -The boat and accessories are well made. -The video of the two grown men in the boat is a little deceiving show more... because it looks like they have plenty of room. Not so, my wife moved in the seat fine. Me, on the other hand, when I turned to face the side of the boat, my legs were stuck between the seat and the tube part of the boat.-I didn't realize it but just a little breeze can move this flat bottom boat pretty far in a short time.-The worst part was unloading and loading all the essentials even though I had a trailer and did not have to inflate/deflate the boat.-Now my wife and I are 65 yrs. old and I'm sure that has a lot to do with this boat being too much to deal with. -I put the boat and extra accessories on Craigslist and sold it.

Positive I like my boat when it is put together and it is comfortable and good for two people. My electric motor is all I show more... need to put around a lake all day. Negative It takes a lot of effort to put together and put away clean, too much for a one day stop at a lake. Invasive species inspections require that you take it out of the vehicle and completely open it up for inspection then close it all up and put it back in the car.

This boat is a great fit for my needs. I like small lakes/ ponds and I do go solo most times, but it's nice to show more... have removable swivel seats so I can take one out when I'm on my own( to have more room for tackle bags etc.) or have the second seat for a friend. I like how the boat folds up into a duffel bag which I can toss in the back of my CR-V. I kind of wish the two boards were not wood because of how heavy they are and they tend to warp a bit. I don't know if it's possible, but it would have been nice it they were made out of a carbon fibre material or something durable and lighter weight. One more thing that I wasn't too pleased about was the foot pump. Mine has come apart at the seams where the billow meets the plastic part you press down on with your foot, so air leaks out the sides and makes it take so much longer to try and pump the boat up. I've tried to glue the seam but it didn't last long. Other than those two issues, all around it's a great little boat that I would recommend to others.

Adam we will definitely be taking your suggestions into consideration. There are adjustment screws at the front of your foot pump under the black caps. Just lift the end of the black cap opposite of the visible screw post enough to expose the screw's philips head and tighten the retaining band and this will prevent the bellow skirts from coming loose.

I bought it fully loaded. It's too heavy for this 70 year old man. Sigh...

Over all it's a heavy duty boat .I wish the floor was easier to put in I'm going to make mine fit easier I don't show more... like the built in rod holders they our I. The way the 2 scotty rod holders our great you can take them off I'm cutting the other ones off I don't like them everything else is great . Put taller adjustable pedestal seat mount for me I'm 6'3 I needed something taller .my 55lb trolling moter pushes it great great portable fishing boat .

I chose the STS10 because I wanted a boat that could float Texas rivers and creeks as well as get onto larger lakes. It is show more... a great choice for these conditions here. I opted for the Minnkota 30lb trolling motor and it does a good job pushing the boat solo, and an ok job with 2 on board. The only reason I’m not giving this boat a 5 is the time and effort in assembling the floor boards. It takes no time getting the boat inflated and rigged once the floor is in, but it takes a lot of effort to get the board in deep enough fore and aft and then another struggle raising them up to attach the center H bar. The instructional video makes it look a lot easier than it actually is, and I’ve spoken with the great customer service team at Sea Eagle and gotten a few tips to make it a bit easier, but it is still a struggle. Sea Eagle has a dropped stitch floor on their Skiff along with good seating, and I’d be first in line to buy a new floor as an option.

Inflatable handles nicely with good stability. I put an electric motor in bow and gas 1.5 hp Suzuki in stern clips right along. My biggest show more... problem is installing floor boards and it is pretty heavy overall. Wish there was an easier way to attach transport wheels. They are a pain to put in and take off. No suggestions as to how to improve that short of installing a permanent wheel bracket to the bottom of boat. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It enabled me to catch a bunch of nice Northerns.

My experience with has been exceptional. I had a 285fpb which I kept for a long time, which I enjoyed. As time went on, I show more... needed a more secure boat (paralyzed diaphram) which I found in the STS10. I taken it out once (it has been too cold) and now that warmer weather is here I expect to use it more. Through dealing with the Staff with the 285fpb and the STS10 has been a pleasure. They were helpful and informative. The shipping was outstanding and I was able to take some of the discounts available. I look forward to summer!

Well designed and functional boat, but two complaints. First, the oars are useless- I use them as paddles. You've got to address this. Make the show more... oarlock more stable, maybe make the oars a bit longer, limit the vertical play. This is a serious deficiency. Secondly, there's a lack of legroom when turning in the chair for a tall guy like me (I'm 6'4''); it's even caused cramping in my upper leg/butt. Probably 2'' more width on each side would make all the difference. Customer service was great when I called about an issue while setting up. Didn't get all the hardware and had to wait for second shipment of that after what had already been a long wait because you were back-ordered. So missed 6 weeks of prime fishing season.

This is really a great boat. I have had it out several times and I love it. The only issue I have had is the show more... oars. I am not sure if they were designed this way or whether it was a manufacturing issue. The blades on the oars I received were both slightly itched in the same direction. If the pitching was intentional I would think I got either 2 left or 2 right oars. I am planning on contacting the company to pose the question to them. That is really the only issue I have with it. Other than that I would recommend it totally.

I like the boat alot but a few things to keep I'm mind.... It takes a while to unload and set it up. Better be show more... in good shape to unload, set up, break down and pack away. The floor boards are large and will not fit in the trunk of a car and possibly not fit into the back seat of a small car. Getting them seated into the bottom of the boat isn't that easy either. You definitely need the electric pump to inflate it. Using the foot pump will take a lot of time and energy. The molded seats are cumbersome and the pedestals are too short for a taller person. Once it's all together you better be close to the water. I reccomend the large wheel set for moving the assembled boat. Getting it under the boat is a challenge though. I added a 1x6 to the aluminum rail and a short wood kick stand to keep it from rolling over. Once on the water it performs pretty well but if it's windy it will drift off course easily. I bought the Watersnake electric trolling moter and it moves along pretty well. All in all it is decent.

Love the boat it works great on the pine creek where I fish!! Only one thing is the oar mounts are not quit as sturdy show more... as I would like when you have to row hard and fast.

I have used my STS10 many times in the past approximately 6 months and have enjoyed it very much. My use has been limited to show more... a small lake (my choice) though the STS10 obviously can do more. I ordered during the height of the pandemic but delivery was prompt, quality is great, and I have had no reason to contact customer service. The only issue I have had was when a black bear found my STS10 interesting and produced one 1 1/2 inch rip and several tiny holes (tip of claws) while playing with it. But the included repair kit saved the day and I have continued to use the STS10 without issue. The only improvement I would suggest is the relocation of the built in rod holders. I am tall and as I rotate in the seats, my knees contact the rod holders. If they were shifted two inches in either direction, I would not contact them. As far as buying from Sea Eagle again, I would. Thanks!

I have to say I absolutely love my ST10. It performed great with the 30lb thrust trolling motor and we look forward to many years show more... of enjoyment out of it. I will say on the initial setup it was tough to get the floorboards in but the second time was much easier, My one disappoint was in the lack of customer service. I had a very simple question to ask after ordering but prior to receiving my boat. I emailed sea eagle staff at least 3 times and called them 4. Got absolutely NO response. The final time I called them I was put in que to speak to someone so I waited an hour on hold only to be sent to voicemail after that hour, I hope if I actually have a problem they are more attentive.

The Sea Eagle met all my expectations. I live on a small lake and needed a (relatively light) fishing boat I could store in my show more... garage and transport (via wheels) to the water. The weight and size of the Sea Eagle works well. I leave it inflated but are a little concerned that stuff will be growing under the floorboard since I periodically wash after fishing and some water will remain. Guess I should "bite the bullet" and remove the floorboards to dry out. Biggest issue with this is the effort to reinstall the boards. Used a rubber mallet to install. the first time. Takes some effort for one person to set up. Other issue are the oars. Since I wash the interior I'm concerned I'll break the oar attachments when I tip upside down to drain. I remove the oars and tape the attachment rods so they don't "flop" when the boat is set upside down. Overall some inconvenience but not a deal breaker.

Love my sts10, plenty of room. I wish it would row like a regular v hull boat. Meaning that I would be facing the rear show more... of the boat while rowing.I find it a bit awkward rowing facing forward. Also I wish the oars were a bit longer, they tend to come out of the water when rowing. Maybe I just need to get used to it, over all I really like the boat. It allows me to get into remote non pressured lakes and enjoy great fishing ! Quality materials and craftsmanship, I expect many years of enjoyment with it.

Truly , I looked a long show more... time for a rugged, durable, easy to transport boat which would host my Minn-Kota electric motor and stowed gear nicely. The STS10 perfectly fits both my fishing and "just cruising around" rivers, streams, and inland lakes here in Michigan. The durability of this boat is awesome. This evidenced a few times when running into fallen trees or hitting some low areas strewn with sharp rocks. A few scrapes but always emerged with NO PUNCTURES! This boat is the REAL DEAL.

I've been very pleased with my Sea Eagle inflatable; the stability is fantastic, the swivel seats are comfortable -- even for a 6-2 guy -- show more... and the boat's maneuverability is fine. I've got a 30 lb thrust trolling motor that I use with it, and it gets the boat around our mountain lakes superbly. I haven't had it out on a tremendously windy day and I'm trying to avoid that, but I have no doubt that the boat would hold up just fine.My only issue (and I figured this when I purchased the STS10) is that from unloading, to inflation, to putting in equipment takes upwards of half an hour and usually more. It's not something that makes us crazy, but we're considering buying a 10-12 foot trailer before next summer to carry the inflated boat and save us time at the water. A friend also purchased the same boat last winter. He's got a pickup with a flat cover for the bed, and his boat is good fit there -- just a bit of hangover. I figure on leaving the boat inflated during the summer, storing in winter. B.G. Brooks

Graduated from a canoe for fishing to the STS10. This boat is more stable and more comfortable. Am very satisfied with this product.

Not enough leg room. Can't turn in the seat without sweezing the sides and rod holders. Battery encumbers movement. Floorboards are difficult to fit. Forward show more... Scottie rod holder not much use. What is the best way to get all the air out and fold boat after use.

When deflating, press all air out first before folding. Fold from opposite end from where the valves are to push out any excess air when folding.
