This is my second Sea Eagle boat. I also own the 285fpb Frameless but I wanted a bigger boat so I could go fishing with my son-in-law. Sea Eagle boats don't disappoint. They are well made and stable. The STS10 has plenty of room for two fisherman and is very comfortable with the swivel seats. It comfortably holds two adults, lunch cooler, tackle boxes, electric motor, and small battery. There are a few things that the prospective buyer should know. It's a heavy boat. The boat itself in its bag isn't too bad but once you inflate it, install the floor boards and seats it is heavy to carry to the water. I would suggest getting the wheel package that supports the STS10 to make it easier to transport. Sea Eagle advertises it as fitting in the trunk of your car but once you add the floorboards, seats, oars, and wheels it takes up a lot of room. I have a smaller SUV and with the rear seats folded down it fills the whole space. Good boat but I recommend getting the electric pump.

We've enjoyed our STS10 with the 2.3hp Honda motor for five years now and still LOVE IT! The only parts I've needed were one new prop (my fault--way too shallow running) and the foot pump finally needs replacing--that's it! My backup generator needs more maintenance than this boat. So I'm not as fast as the 10hp pontoon boats, but I'm having as much fun at a much lower cost. This Sea Eagle simply soars. Thanks.

My wife and I are very impressed with the ST10 and have fished in it at least ten times this season. We were a little skeptical that four adults would fit in it, but we were able to accomplish that a couple of times by taking the seats out. Our only criticism would be the ability to customize the raft during purchase, our dream set up would be to take out the four onboard rod holders (which aren't very compatible with flyrods) and remove the mounts for the optional canopy. This would give four adults a much more comfortable all-day experience on the water.

I bought it fully loaded. It's too heavy for this 70 year old man. Sigh...

This is the best little two person fishing boat and we also use it for a quiet little excursion on the reservoir. My wife and I, both in our late 70's, are able to load it and unload it very easily. We use this in the summer time only. Our children and grands love it too.

Awesome small boat. Just what i was looking for. i fit my entire fishing rig- boat , motor, and all equipment in the back of a Chevy bolt EUV. Plug in air pump is a must have. 55 lb thrust Minn Kota trolling motor pushes the boat around just fine. I would invest in a good Lithium ion 12v. battery. Don't waste your $ on a lead acid. The construction of the boat is very solid and heavy duty. The carrier works very well carting the boat around after its put together. Works very well for someone not wanting a slip bill, or trailer. Takes roughly 10-15 minutes to completely set up with the plug in pump, and 1/2 of that deflating and re stowing. Wish i would have made the purchase sooner.

Over all it's a heavy duty boat .I wish the floor was easier to put in I'm going to make mine fit easier I don't like the built in rod holders they our I. The way the 2 scotty rod holders our great you can take them off I'm cutting the other ones off I don't like them everything else is great . Put taller adjustable pedestal seat mount for me I'm 6'3 I needed something taller .my 55lb trolling moter pushes it great great portable fishing boat .

This is my 6-th year with this boat and is my main fishing platform. I don’t have a single patch on it yet, and I used it below freezing a lot. I have a 3,5 hp Mercury on it ( 14/15 km/h fully loaded or 9to 10 with two people). I had to modify the engine mount because my engine is a short shaft and was not seating low enough and I had to build my own trolling motor mount since there was none available from the producer. The trolling motor is a 55lb/12V Terrova . The only problem so far seems to be the floor which is on its last leg. I do believe that a lighter composite floor will work way better and that is my winter project for it. Other than that, the boat is a joy , you can rely on it and it brought me many beautiful memories.

Overall this little boat has been great. We have taken it out lake fishing lake a few times and it's performed quite well. Set up takes about 20-25 minutes with a foot pump, and with a wheel kit we can roll down to the launch and be underway in under a minute. It is not a fast boat. We leave the wheel kit attached which might slow us down a little. We have a 30-pound thrust motor. I don't feel comfortable going above setting 3 out of 5 because of the stress it puts on the motor mounts. The boat is stable, the seats are comfortable, and there is adequate room for two of us and our gear. I think this boat would struggle in a headwind. I'd only recommend it for small lakes, or maybe larger lakes on calm days. Open water weather conditions can change quickly so try to head out against the wind so it will be easier to get home. The materials feel durable and construction looks good. I will probably invest in an electric pump sometime in the near future. I recommend thoroughly washing after fishing.

Haven't had the STS10 for that long, but the 5 or 6 times i've inflated and used the boat, it has not disappointed! The construction in my opinion, is more than what i expected. It's rugged, and the pictures don't really show it that well, but the bottom of the boat has some wear reinforcement that is holding up really well so far. I use it to fish larger inland lakes and smaller streams, so it gets skidded across all kinds of abraisive surfaces. Grade A construction. The transom motor mounts molded in to the hull are tough...a bit too tall when trying to connect my trolling motor...The portability is amazing. I have a sub compact suv and the whole kit including the motor and batteries fit inside with room to spare. It's truely the most important feature i was after when shopping for a fishing boat. Buy the plug in air pump, and a 1000AH 12.8 v. lithium ion phosphate battery. This boat needs both IMO. Also a great option for a charger is the Noco Genius 10.

I chose the STS10 because I wanted a boat that could float Texas rivers and creeks as well as get onto larger lakes. It is a great choice for these conditions here. I opted for the Minnkota 30lb trolling motor and it does a good job pushing the boat solo, and an ok job with 2 on board. The only reason I’m not giving this boat a 5 is the time and effort in assembling the floor boards. It takes no time getting the boat inflated and rigged once the floor is in, but it takes a lot of effort to get the board in deep enough fore and aft and then another struggle raising them up to attach the center H bar. The instructional video makes it look a lot easier than it actually is, and I’ve spoken with the great customer service team at Sea Eagle and gotten a few tips to make it a bit easier, but it is still a struggle. Sea Eagle has a dropped stitch floor on their Skiff along with good seating, and I’d be first in line to buy a new floor as an option.

Size is perfect for those little lakes that big boats aren't allowed. My wife loves the stability of it...best of many worlds.

Inflatable handles nicely with good stability. I put an electric motor in bow and gas 1.5 hp Suzuki in stern clips right along. My biggest problem is installing floor boards and it is pretty heavy overall. Wish there was an easier way to attach transport wheels. They are a pain to put in and take off. No suggestions as to how to improve that short of installing a permanent wheel bracket to the bottom of boat. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It enabled me to catch a bunch of nice Northerns.

Where do I start. First off, I love this craft. I have 2 Hobie kayaks (I'm actually in the process of selling, if you are interested?) that this STS10 replaced. As I am getting older, the kayaks were just too heavy and the transportation/storage not as easy. I wanted a craft that I could fish with my wife and this was perfect. I have used the STS for one summer now (14 days) and there is no deterioration (I usually inflate it at the beginning of my trip and leave it inflated for 3-4 days with absolutely no loss of air pressure). I bought the Honda gas motor and it does take getting used to but I am becoming a pro at it. I also got the electric pump with a battery. IMHO, this is the way to go! So easy to set up and inflate. In summary, I am so glad I made this purchase. It excels in everything they claim: storage, transportability, set up and quality. I expect to get years of enjoyment. In fact, I am considering purchasing two 285 frameless crafts with an electric motor.

My wife and I used it at Choke Canyon Lake State Park, TX. We love it. One guy come up to my travel trailer and asked where I got it. I told him where I got and sent him to your site.

I have had my Sea Eagle STS10 for 2 years now and have loved every minute of it! The truest test for it's durability came this weekend. I was fishing at a friends cottage in Quebec when a storm began to approach, I quickly headed to shore and docked my boat. Still attached was the paddles, 1 chair, my Minn Kota motor, and the transducer arm via Scotty Mount. The wind and rain came much harder than expected, as I watched from the safety of the cottage a Micro Burst hit the lake, right at the dock where my boat was. My Sea Eagle STS10 was picked up by the wind, the metal ties torn away (designed this way to prevent more severe damage) - raised 10' in the air and did a complete 360 landing on the other side of the dock and blown down the lake. I was in shock seeing this and had to wait until the storm passed to see where my boat went. It was 3 cottages down floating against the side of another dock, ready to be used again. The seat, paddles, Scotty Mount and Transducer arm all held in Place! So happy!

I can't say enough good things about this boat. I get many compliments every time I am out fishing on the lake. It packs in the back of my SUV and provides all day comfort on the lake. This boat is super stabile for stand up fishing and there is ample room for two fisherman to enjoy. I have loaded my boat with a trolling motor, battery, fish finder, center console, 6 rods, cooler, tackle etc. It's a beast and solid as a brick wall. Set up is part of the process (get the two stage pump) but not having to pay for boat storage or a trailer makes it worth it. The wooden deck was a big plus for this boat, along with the nice padded swivel seats. I looked for months and I don't think you can do better financially than this boat. My next boat will be the FSK16, but I hope to enjoy this boat for many years. Thank You Sea Eagle for creating a fantastic product that can handle what fisherman need to enjoy a nice day on the lake. Highly recommended!

Really like my STS10, enjoying it a lot. I was pleased with everything but wish the seat pedestals were a bit higher, it would help those of us with bad backs. The customer service has been very good, they are knowledgeable and take the time to answer your questions. My dog loves it too!

Love the boat. Is great in Long Island Sound. I actually need advice on upgrading from a trowling electric motor to a gas, self contained motor. Which is the best, light weight motor for this model?
