Don’t know if 1 or 5 scale is good or bad but I love this boat!! Only regret is the small trailer to transport it show more... by hand is too expensive. One woman can handle the weight but it’s so bulky it’s hard for one person to carry

Purchasing this kayak has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I would love to be able review it, but I can't because the kayak is unusable. show more... After purchasing the SE 370, it arrived at our doorstep without any of the valves. Despite repeatedly calling and emailing Sea Eagle's customer service multiple times over the last month, no one has responded. My calls are sent to a voicemail saying they are overwhelmed with calls, and my emails must fall into a black abyss. While I certainly understand being overwhelmed right now, it should not take almost a month (and counting!) to respond to customers who have unusable products they have paid over $400 for. I have never left a negative product review before but I am beyond frustrated. We had promised our kids a kayaking trip this summer and summer is slipping away. In short, I'm very, very disappointed.

There's was nothing in your literature that said it was sourced out of China. How much air to put in bottom chamber. Should be a show more... gauge of some kind. Seats. From pics looks like seats are fastened down. Of course they aren't. Seat always leans back. Very uncomfortable after a period of time. Seats should be higher up. The paddle rubs on RH air chamber. Very hard to get out of. I've been dumped in Miss. River twice trying to get out. One of my boys has a hard shell one so we will go up river this summer to see which one takes the most energy. No place to put any thing. If you place some thing between your legs than can't place your feet there. If you place some thing behind you, than turn around, it feels like you might turn over. Why can't you put D-Rings on this thing. With 2 6' ft. people on board it would be a boat full. I will probably try it 2 more times before I try something else.

I thought this would be a good choice for my brother and myself, as we are seniors and need something light weight to get in show more... and out of the car. It was Awkward to paddle; sides too bulky to use the paddles effectively, Seats poorly designed and very low setting in the kayak. I ordered two inflatable cushions to boost the seats up higher, but never used them.Only used the kayak once. Very disappointed.

I received the kayak at the end of August 2021. The kayak is longer and better than an intext product with a great pump and show more... longer and more durable paddles. The bag is horrible and tears easily leading to punctures. In two months, it got punctured at the sides and I had to return from Ottawa without paddling and once from Milton too as it took a lot of time to repair it. I ended up buying another duffle bag and a lot of repair equipment. The kayak works fine though I do not have much confidence in it and only stay in water for an hour. Overall good product with very weak equipment supporting it. Those who buy at a lesser price from Amazin, even complain of the pump. One valve is no longer reversible and I have to use it for a seat which does not ensure a good posture for me or co-user.

Very difficult to navigate on a lake. I would return if I could

I thought this would be great, but unfortunately Sea Eagle shipped my kayak to me without the necessary valves so I could blow it up show more... and use it. I specifically purchased this to use at a campground where we were on the water. I had sent three emails since I couldn’t call them and never got a response back. That two week trip came and went. When I got home I then tried calling them. After the third call someone answered the phone. They did not return my prior Voice mails. So I have yet to try it. Once I do get to use it I will let you all know how it went. Not happy with the customer service

It is light and compact to put in my car's trunk BUT 1) It takes at least 40 minutes to inflate including the seats 2) show more... The seats move and yet I cannot glue a cleat to time them down on the kayak A real bummer 3) It is hard to paddle especially with just slight wind 4) The sail is almost impossible to set up and control I only used it once 5) I no longer use it as I bought a hard kayak I would not buy one again - I tell my friends not to bother with the kayak maybe one of your dingy that use an outboard for power. We have only used it 2, maybe 3 times. My weight being about 250 pounds, no matter where I sat I had a difficult time. show more... The inflatable seats just didn't seam to hold my weight well. I was uncomfortable and with my much light wife as a second passenger, it was not well balanced in the water. Then the last time we used it, a couple of years ago, it caught on a bolt on the trailer and ripped a hole in it way too easy. We patched it and tucked it away and haven't used it since and don't know if the patch worked or not yet. Overall, because of our age (62 and 66) and size, it was not a good purchase for us.

While it was convenient to be able to carry in the back seat or trunk, we found the SE 370 not to be competitive in show more... performance. It is sluggish and much harder to propel than a rigid kayak in our experience. We are not happy with it and sold it last weekend for a measly $100. Will not be buying any more.

A little pricey when compared with competitors. Delivery timeline good. Easy to transport. Assembly time good, pretty easy blowup with foot pump, I purchased battery show more... pump but rarely use it. Maybe a bit big which creates a handling issue when using it solo, two people better. After use cleanup difficult, too many nooks and cranny's to dry up. Overall an ok purchase.

To be honest I am a little disappointed. The boat is not very stable and hard to steer in the wind. We got the upgraded show more... seats but it is much more comfortable in the back than in the front.

Takes too long to prepare and clean. Hard to clean interior after use. Seats not well designed-too low making it hard to row.

Took forever to deliver. It is also way to heavy to be carried by that little strap. I was hoping for two thick straps I show more... could wear on my back for easier transport. Not really possible to move it without a vehicle, making the whole point of an inflatable kayak kind of moot.

Haven't had it in the river or lake/pond due to it needing to registered. This spring I'm going to do that so I will have show more... a better review. However I did inflate it and tried it in a large pool just to see the balance and how sturdy it is. When I first opened it there was a boot print on the front and a rip on the part that covers the stern. I think that's what you would call the front. So that kind of had me upset for it being "brand new". It didn't hurt it structurally so I'll patch it. For right now I'll give it 3 stars but like I said I will take it for it's maiden voyage come spring.

I am mostly happy with my purchase. I bought it because of positive reviews and I am happy with its portability, and ease to set show more... up and use. My only complaint is that I find it slightly difficult to keep it tracking straight when we are two people kayaking. Perhaps if the two skews were a little larger??

There are some apparent glitches in the manufacturing process. Twice, the valves have broken; once the sharp edges of that break caused several tears in show more... the kayak. In addition, we have used the foot pump fewer than 10 times, and it has broken already. Therefore, we wish the manufacturers used better parts to go along with the boat. On the other hand, it is easy to use.

The package arrived in distressed condition but we could see no damage. There was a leak in one of the valves but we followed the show more... hair dryer advice and fixed it. As far as performance is concerned, the seats as supplied are very uncomfortable so we ordered your “deluxe” version at extremely high price. Surely you can offer a better price. Will try the new seat when the smoke clears. If successful, I’d like to see a more attractive Offer in CAD for a second one.

Deluxe seats are just barely adequate. Probably the weakest point of the kayak. We have both the 330 and 370. The 330 would be very show more... tight for 2 people for anything but a short trip. The 370 has enough room but is not really very stable for two people (we weigh 310 pounds together) and this makes paddling in sync difficult. I would return the 370 if it were possible. The pros are that it is lightweight, easy to inflate/deflate, and the material is sturdy.

It had weird stains on it, but otherwise we like it, I wish it came with a better bag.

Initially elected to go with the 370 due to price. After using the kayak I quickly realized it didn’t offer the necessary level of stability show more... that i was looking for. This was because of the i-beam construction. Upgraded to the 300 as it has drop stitch flooring and have been happy with the upgrade choice. The 370 would be fine for inland lakes but i wouldn’t recommend for anything where there’s substantial waves or current.

Great kayak but the sail came without the cords to attach to boat

I am trying to contact you regarding a problem with my Sea Eagle. I did not put it into my review, but that was an show more... oversight. It seems to tip slightly to the left when we are kayaking. Is there a way to resolve this problem? We have added air to one side more than the other. That does not seem to help. I would appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you

The kayak is affordable, and easy to transport, inflate and store. However, I was disappointed by the lack of any response to my inquiry to show more... customer service concerning the tear in the boat which my daughter and I discovered when we first removed it from its packing at the lake where we were going to use it. We were able to fix the tear with a patch kit, but it was difficult to cut the patch to the right size on site without scissors, making the patch of a never-used kayak look pretty rough. One of the inflatable seats never inflated properly, because the air bladder inside the seat was not installed properly. Perhaps some of the reason why I never received any customer service was because I made my service request by email during the pandemic, so I am reluctant to recommend against an otherwise affordable and quality product.
