we have enjoyed our Sea Eagle. It is easy to use and put away. Feels a little unstable at times but I haven't spent much time in a regular kayak so don't know how to compare.

I bought the Sea Eagle 360 to explore the rivers off the Chespeake Bay and Patapsco River in Maryland. It was a snap to set up and take down. I quickly added the Fast Track so the whole family could go together. Sea Eagle products are amazing.

We received our SE-370 on Oct. 19, 2015. Since that time we were able to take it out to a large local lake four times & put it through its paces. We both adapted quickly to the kayak & had a lot of fun with it. Unfortunately, the weather here in Colorado didn't allow us to take it out any more, thus the reason for 4-star rating. It is now rolled up & in its bag for the winter. We bought this kayak to take with us on our proposed nearly 5-month vacation this coming summer. We will be starting out in Montana & travelling across the upper United States, through the Dakotas, Minnesota, into the Michigan UP, across Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine & into Nova Scotia. Hopefully, we will have many opportunities to put it out on some of the many lakes throughout all those states. So until this trip is over with, I don't have much more to report. It was very easy for a couple of 74-year olds to inflate & carry to the water. Deflating & rolling up were equally as easy & quick.

This is a great boat a ton of fun to go play in and fits great in the back of my jeep. I just wish it was easier to set up and take down but I haven't got a electric pump yet so that will fix that problem. I would buy it again!

Love it. Took it on a horse pack trip to some mountain lakes. Worked great and was pleasantly surprised how well it cruised through the water.

While it was convenient to be able to carry in the back seat or trunk, we found the SE 370 not to be competitive in performance. It is sluggish and much harder to propel than a rigid kayak in our experience. We are not happy with it and sold it last weekend for a measly $100. Will not be buying any more.

Sea Eagle Reply:
We just wanted to take a moment to personally apologize for your unhappiness. Although our goal is to please everyone, we know that is not completely possible in all cases. The SE370 and rigid rotomolded kayaks are completely different in every way, shape and form. It's similar to comparing oranges and bananas. However our RazorLite™ Series kayaks: https://www.seaeagle.com/RazorLite, are much closer to rigid kayaks in the same class, both in design and shape with the benefits of being an inflatable plus in most cases much lighter. Please remember when buying direct from us as you did back in 2014 you'll receive the same 180 Money Back Guarantee Trial Period: https://www.seaeagle.com/ReturnPolicy, 3 Year Warranty: https://www.seaeagle.com/Warranty, and *Free S&H. We want to make sure should you not be totally happy with something that you can return it free from hassle. *Free shipping to the lower 48 USA

Unfortunately we had to sell our SE370. Due to mobility issues we found it very difficult to get in and out of the kayak (we are both seniors). We tried several times but just couldn't manage. We were very disappointed. No problem with the kayak, we were very impressed with the portability and the quality.

Overall We have been very pleased. 5 years plus and no issues. We use ours about 10 times a year on the very rocky James river. The material they are made of has really amazed me how much abuse it can take and so far held up well. We would not hesitate to purchase another if we ever wear these out. Thanx for a great boat and great price to.

I am very satisfied with my kayak and the convenience it affords me to carry in my car. the ordering and delivery were a non event.

I only been on two kayaks in my life and this is one of them. The SE 370 is not as fast as the hard shell kayak that I rented. It was harder to go straight even in calm water, perhaps my skill level is not there yet. I had some fun for the price I paid, I wish I could spend more time on it to really know what it can do.

We have only used it 2, maybe 3 times. My weight being about 250 pounds, no matter where I sat I had a difficult time. The inflatable seats just didn't seam to hold my weight well. I was uncomfortable and with my much light wife as a second passenger, it was not well balanced in the water. Then the last time we used it, a couple of years ago, it caught on a bolt on the trailer and ripped a hole in it way too easy. We patched it and tucked it away and haven't used it since and don't know if the patch worked or not yet. Overall, because of our age (62 and 66) and size, it was not a good purchase for us.

We took our Sea Eagle to Vancouver Island and kayaked in protected bays. We had a great time, and the boat performed perfectly. Doug, our 50 pound border collie mix, slept in the middle while we paddled. Great kayak and great price.

The boat is great. I'm not hard core but like to get on the water. Delivery was prompt. I love that it fits in the trunk of my little 2 seater convertible. I'm always ready... Very sturdy and comfortable for 2. It's also very maneuverable for 1 person. I would absolutely buy again!

Well it was easy to inflat and fast to the water plus light across the water.no problems found. What I did find out cleaning it wasn't hard at all just rinse flip inside out and let dry

I thought this would be a good choice for my brother and myself, as we are seniors and need something light weight to get in and out of the car. It was Awkward to paddle; sides too bulky to use the paddles effectively, Seats poorly designed and very low setting in the kayak. I ordered two inflatable cushions to boost the seats up higher, but never used them.Only used the kayak once. Very disappointed.

It is light and compact to put in my car's trunk BUT 1) It takes at least 40 minutes to inflate including the seats 2) The seats move and yet I cannot glue a cleat to time them down on the kayak A real bummer 3) It is hard to paddle especially with just slight wind 4) The sail is almost impossible to set up and control I only used it once 5) I no longer use it as I bought a hard kayak I would not buy one again - I tell my friends not to bother with the kayak maybe one of your dingy that use an outboard for power. you folks have a great product and a great company to deliver the goods and then back it up. there are several pieces of gear I would like to use if I was only about 30 years younger. I bought the sea eagle mainly for my kids but I have used it occasionally and find it very user friendly. thanks tom wagner

We enjoyed using our boat at Pensacola Beach Florida. It was easy to set up and deflate. It handled well in the Gulf waters and also in the sound. We look forward to more boating.

We carry the kayak into the high mountain lakes here in Wyoming. It works very well for us. I have recommended your company to others who have been satisfied with your products also. Service has been very good. Thanks

On a score of 1-10, I would give it a 6.5. On the good side, it stores well, is relatively easy to transport and is comfortable compared to hard sided kayaks. The material seems fairly rugged, The oars seems to be fine quality and it is fairly easy to inflate. On the downside, tracking is mediocre and the boat takes a lot of effort to propel. A friend of ours has one of your more advanced models and that is easier to paddle and it tracks better. Overall a more enjoyable experience. But we feel the biggest downside is the cleanup. We find it necessary to take it home after using, reinflating, hosing and scrubbing it down with a cleaner, drying it off (difficult with the many folds) and leaving it out in the sun to finish drying. Trying to rush the cleanup results in one smelly boat. Honestly, we spend more time maintaining it then we do actually using it. I guess it is the price of portability.

I am a return user from about 15 years ago.... I have done a lot of class III and lake kayaking on it. Why do i need another one? Well i know have a family and a 6 and 4 year old. they want to join in the fun together rather than separately!!
