Only one issue: the keel air valve is difficult to reach. I suggest an access flap in the bow cover or move the valve back. Also, the inflatable seats I bought should have the valves already installed. I have tried to get the ring on several times and have not been successful. Seems odd that it would be up to the customer to perform such a difficult part of the assembly of your product.

Thank you for the review and feedback Rand. We leave the valves off to avoid any damage during shipping and storage. Here is a video that will help in any use or installation of your white valves: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV7csUFzHCA

Well once u have the sea eagle set up it fishes great however I am disappointed with the skeg . I load the kayak in my truck and can’t the slide the skeg on because of the concern of bagging it around and putting the kayaks weight on it . Once I get to the water it’s tricky putting it on and then unloading the kayak . Once I’m done fishing then I have to maneuver and try to slide the skeg off to load the kayak in my truck . U can’t use the kayak without the skeg... it won’t track. I also knew before buying that it’s heavy and it certainly is . I’m an older guy but in decent shape .... difficult even with the trailer wheels I bought for it . This kayak wasn’t for me unfortunately but I’ll be doing some traveling and will continue to hang in there with it . Also to pack it , it deflates slowly in order to roll up.

Boat was great, but the seat I ordered, inflatatable, green has a different valve than my boat. Unable to inflate with the pump included with the boat. Not good when out camping and trying boat out for the first time. Boat does not paddle well when sitting in fishing seat, which is why I bought the inflatable seat. I was thrilled to get the boat, now am extremely disappointed in it.

Overall, the FastTrack Fishing 385 two-person kayaks I bought are great. The biggest factor for me was overall storage and ease of transport. I don't have room for a trailer, and getting the kayaks to and from the water is very simple in the back of the minivan or my suv. We have two of the same kayaks. It fits my wife, three kids (all under 10), and myself very easily between the two kayaks. We have had zero issues with punctures to the hull, which is the biggest concern where we kayak and fish. Lots of trees and hazards in the water. The only drawback is the ease of modifications. I like to tinker a bit to see what helps, but most modifications require a solid hull and a drill point. I did make my own portage cart/dolly because most kayak carts don't consider the fin that is on these. I also made some booster seats to help be more efficient when paddling. I'm looking forward to using these for years to come!

The 385 fta performs as described in the advertising, and is a very good inflatable. It tracks well and very fast on the water for an inflatable. Problem: The forth valve that fills the front chine is very difficult to get to. This real problem and annoying. Perhaps an opening in the cover directly over the valve would work. Otherwise a very nice kayak.

Hi Jeffrey, I would recommend inflating the front keel first before the floor, this allows you to connect the hose to the valve much easier. Thanks for the feedback.

Love this boat. Fast to inflate/deflate, great in the water for one or two people. My biggest complaint is that the carrying bag isn’t fitted with backpack-style shoulder straps. It’s hard to carry any distance with the handles.

The 385fta has performed well on several outings. No quality issues. I find that the rod holders on the rear are not very useful for the rear seating fisherman due to difficulty getting to the rods. Not a big deal but something mounted forward of the rear seat would be nice. Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend this particular boat and Sea Eagle in general.

Love the sea eagle 385 with fishing seat and trolling motor. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the bungee attachment came off so quick. Still figuring out how to reattach/glue

I have had my Sea Eagle 385fta for close to a year now. I have used it a few times and so far it has held up well. I have used it in both large river float fishing situations and on the tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay. I have the complete full angler package with the sit on top seat and trolling motor. I highly recommend this package. The kayak is easy to move around with the trolling motor but when using the paddle the kayak moves slow. Also buy the cart that they sell separate for it. You will need it to move it around! The kayak seems to be made of very durable material that I am hoping holds up well. I chose this particular kayak because of its fish ability functions and I like the fact that I can fold it up so it fits in a large duffle bag and stick it in the closet of my basement. I live in a townhouse with no garage so this kayak's easily storing design is very ideal. All and all I would recommend this product.

Raft works well. Easy to blow up and deflate. Performs well, things I don’t like... inflatable chair broke after a couple of trips. Hard to roll up and get into its bag. Will definitely want to get the upgraded chair and wheels. Otherwise good quality.

I cannot say enough good things about my 385FTA. It is super stable, tracks like it is on rails, very comfortable and has ample space for two paddlers. Assembly and inflation is simple and straightforward. Plenty of space for fishing gear, food and beverages. We travel extensively, 2-4 months at a time. I purchased it primarily to take along while traveling but I like the boat so much I wound up selling my other kayaks. No need for anything else.

I like the boat. It is easy to set up. It is comfortable and move around effortlessly in calm water. Service rendered by the support staff is excellent, I got a new set of paddle almost immediately after I brought it up to their attention that the one sent to me do not fit nicely and it difficult to join it together. Thank you.

Have used my seaeagle 385fta numerous times now and love how stable it is on the water. There is lots of floor space for gear when fishing or an extra passenger or two. The boat boat paddles easy and tracks good when calm. A bit harder to control with a wind on a lake but that is to be expected with how much of the boat is on top of the water. Easy to inflate or deflate. All the pieces do take up a fair bit of room but can still fit in the back of any car or SUV. The weight is ok for me but a little to heavy for my wife or daughter to lift and carry for any distance. The only things that could be better is if it was a bit lighter and cost less. Over all I am very pleased with this inflatable kayak and would recommend it to anyone.

Boat as advertised. Good customer service. Three points preventing the fifth star: first, the pump. The nozzles on the pump sent as part of a package didn't seal. Sea Eagle kindly send a replacement, but there were nozzle issues there too. Net net I must use two pumps in order to inflate/deflate kayak. Or pay for yet another pump. Item two, carrying case: once unpacked, it's nearly impossible to get back into the case. Case has zero ergonomics- like a giant grocery bag. Was able to find a third party case from an outdoors store that worked. Item three: Would also like to be sent a friendly summary of set up demo web links, all on on sheet or email - or better - a sturdy color picture guide for all features, including water snake motor. With above points adressed would add a star to the rating.

I absolutely love my Sea Eagle 385fta. I purchased the fishing package with the swivel seat & 24 lb. thrust Watersnake electric motor. The kayak hull is very strong and the build quality of the kayak is great. It's very stable and has lots of room for fishing with various gear. I travel to remote fishing locations with a truck camper so it's wonderful that I can fold this up to a relatively compact size and transport it inside my camper. My only negative is that the 24 lb. thrust electric motor is too small for choppy water. I subsequently upgraded to a Minn Kota 34 lb. thrust motor and couldn't be happier with the whole setup. If you need a portable fishing kayak I highly recommend the Sea Eagle 385fta.

I always wanted kayak for fishing, but didn’t have the vehicle that would make transport possible. The Sea Eagle fit the bill. It’s easy to set up and take down so I can get into the mangrove forests down here that harbor all the great fishing.

Just two important takeaways from my experience with Sea Eagle so far. 1) the boat is everything they say it is: well constructed, easy to assemble/inflate, and great fun on the water. If you do not want the hassle of roof racking and storing a hard kayak, this is a terrific option. 2) Maybe as important, the company is very responsive and works quickly to help. In my sitiuation, I ordered the swivel seat, which somehow arrived damaged, most likely in shipping. All I had to do was send a picture of the damage, as well as the order form from Sea Eagle. I sent the information on a Friday and I received a replacement seat on the following Tuesday. Next year I'm in the market for a SUP, and Sea Eagle will be my first look.

It’s a fishing machine! Last summer I brought this rig on our family vacation to the Adirondacks and it revolutionized the way I fish. With the outboard motor I could reach places in minutes, that ordinarily took a long time to row my packfish 7. The swivel seat is neat, but many times I just used the inflatable seat from my wife’s sea Eagle paddle board to save time. The floorboard is truly solid and stable to stand on, and the overall speed and maneuverability of the kayak were excellent. I could literally fish on this thing all day . I’m a die hard freshwater fisherman, and this set up does exactly what I need it to do. It’s perfect.

Easy, quick set up, with the electric pump. Stable in the water when entering/exiting, tracks very well. I am ordering the swivel seat for easier fishing. LOVE OUR KAYAK!

I really enjoy the ease of set -up. It takes me longer to get everything I "need" in the kayak than it does setting out and inflating it. I went with the professional low seat for ease of paddling, and they excel for stability and support for both recreational and trolling for the big one.
