I initially had several issues with my Sea Eagle 375FC. The first boat delivered had a defective valve and I had to send that boat back. Sea Eagle sent me a replacement boat and the second boat had a leak and I had to send that boat back. Both times the folks at Sea Eagle were very good and understanding, however very frustrating that it took 3 boats to finally get a good one. The boat is good for light river floats, however I float several rivers that have class lll rapids and these boats do not hold up well in rough conditions. The oats are not very sturdy being made of thin aluminum. If your buying this boat for easy, calm rivers you should be happy with it.

Sea Eagle Reply:
Robert, our apologies for hulls damaged during shipping. The couriers can be kinda rough nowadays. We have since revised packaging.

There’s a lot to like about 375FC but there a lot not to like also. The likes: Transports folded up in the truck bed Holds two persons easily and safely Fully capable fishing boat holding gear trolling motor and battery No problems getting registered for those states that require it when powered The dislikes: Weight and size make it hauling it around difficult Problems with nose cone design makes folding it correctly crucial or the seams end up leaking. We ended up replacing the hull because we could never get them sealed. I’m very specific with the way I fold the new hull to make sure they don’t get ruined.

Overall, I am happy with my boat. I was surprised the first time I launched the boat when I tried to connect the trolling motor that I had purchased with the boat and discovered it would not attach to the battery case that had been included. The battery case had a larger post for the positive connection than the trolling did. I have also needed to patch two holes in the boat and can only hope to not have more. That is discouraging when the leak is not discovered until after driving a few hours to get to the water. I am not sure how the warranty woks and would like additional information on that topic.

I would rate this 3.8 star if that was an option. I dont think it deserves a 4 but hate to give it a 3. The boat would be much better if it were about 6 to 8 inches wider. I think that would make it much more stable. I'm a bit disappointed in the advertising claiming you can stand on one side of the boat safely. Other than the boat being a little bit tipsy I was pleased with all the other features of the boat and customer service was great. It shipped on time . I have also owned a 12.6 ft Sea Eagle run about and was very pleased with that boat. Maybe I should stick with a raft, but I do belive this boat would be much better if made a little wider to give more stability.

I use the boat to float / fish our local river which I used to fish frequently but a canoe became too cramped and unstable. This river is rocky, class 1 / 2 rapids. The Foldcat allows us to comfortably fish the river. I have a trailer it slides into perfectly. The dolly makes it easy to wheel for longer distances and can be strapped on the boat to use at take out if needed. The handle placement on pontoons makes it easy for 2 people to carry it. I have both seats at the higher level and they spin 360 deg. The boat is very stable to fish from, handles all our gear and I have 4 rod holders. Steering is not difficult- much easier than a one person pontoon. I use an anchor drop at the bow but don’t use the front bar. Do not leave it in the sun out of the water for long or the air chambers can expand too much and pull out of the connection to pontoons - a pain to fix. I’ve had more fun fishing on the river since I got the Foldcat and highly recommend it, well engineered and constructed!

We highly recommend our 303 Aerospace protectant. Its like a sunscreen/wax for your inflatable boat. You apply every 6 weeks or so and it keep the material very healthy and looking like new! - https://www.seaeagle.com/Accessories/care-preservation/303-protectant

Love the Platform!!! Perfect for an old codger like me. I would have given a FIVE * rating if only the standup bar were easier to lay back. The videos make it look so simple, but I find my fighting it. I'd remove it if I didn't need the stabilization (I'm old remember) boarding.

I received my 375fc soon after ordering it in the summer. I was impressed by the easy assembly and the ingenious attention to detail. Due to health issues I was unable to launch my boat and had to store it for the winter. My pet project to convert the 375fc into a floating duck blind succeeded and awaits the fall of 2021 for deployment. It will be preceded by some serious river trips during the spring and summer. Thanks for a great product!

I love the boat. It is portable enough that I can launch by myself. I'm 68 years old and like to fish so now I can get out anytime I want. My regret is buying the 90 lb thrust troller. It requires the battery be strapped down and it is too heavy. It make launching a pain. If I knew then what I know now I would get the smaller troller with the battery all in one. I am going to see if I can sell or trade my 90 lb for the 35lb thrust troller and be free of the strap on marine battery. I also will be ordering a extension for the front seat so it's easier to fish from front of the boat. I'm still thinking about an inflatable kayak.

Finally got the chance to test out my boat. It is very stable on the water. It is comfortable to be on. It is great fun.

the boat was delivered promptly and the initial setup went smoothly. On the water it took a few minutes to figure what worked and what didn't but my wife and I thoroughly enjoy the boat. As we perfect the use of the boat through many uses I can only see pure enjoyment.

I'll admit it does take some time to assemble and at 75pounds it's not easy to lug around either. But the 375fc can go anywhere you want it to go. It does get into tight places where other boats can't and is very stable. The pontoon material is very durable and had no problem bumping into fallen trees and branches. And it's quiet. Not like aluminum or wooden boats where moving around causes noise and frightens fish away. I also enjoy the seat arrangement. They are high enough where casting is a breeze. Unlike squatting in some boats, you have the freedom to sit up high or stand to cast. If you choose to use either of the recommended air compressors just be aware it's going to be noisy. You may want to wear earplugs or make a muffled box for them. But all in all I am satisfied with the boat. I carry it in my cargo van and can have it ready to go at a moments notice. It's the all around solution for getting out on the lake for me and my buddy.

The Sea Eagle Fold Cat is great. The only complaint is that it had a hole in the right pontoon right out of the box.I fixed it with the supplied repair kit and it holds air now,but I should not have to fix a brand new boat.

pros cant beat the convenience, doesn't take up too much room, perfect for a SUV or hatchback the green color is so cool and blends I left mine inflated and threw it on top of tonneau cover on pickup this allowed me to go solo AND save a lot of time I also modified it by putting on a removable plywood deck, covered by camo green boat vinyl florring rear swivel boat seat, electric motor and front seat/storage bin and rod holder! perfect for a day float or even a float and camp very comfy!!!!! everyone flips out when they see me go by very stable, you can sit on the deck and dangle legs in water you can sit right in front between pontoons and crab your way thru low water very well built, no malfunctions in two seasons cons as with any inflatable very subjective to wind recommend the highest power electric motor possible does not maneuver well........comes with the territory with type of boat

After using my pontoon for fishing for two years now, I am very happy with the performance. The hulls are very well made and withstand normal abuse launching and retrieving. The seats are sturdy and comfortable. I do wish there was some type of floor as it can be tricky moving about when stepping among the slats. I use the 30# electric trolling motor and it is plenty powerful. Switching to a small gas motor is my next step, as I would like more range. Overall the quality of the boat, aluminum pieces, rod mounts, etc. is very substantial and I doubt I could ever wear this boat out. I did experience a very rough water ride with a large man in the front seat, me in the rear on a lake full of high powered boats zooming about. We encountered several large wakes, which the boat handled most excellently. Only casualty was a spilled beverage.

I bought this boat along with my brother in law. We've gone lake fishing for trout for the past 3 years. We enjoy the portability of the boat (instead of inflating it everytime we go fishing, we do it once in the spring and periodically check the pressure. We have small suv's with roof racks, we can easily manoeuver the boat onto the roof and secure it with fasteners. This is quite practical since we only have to untie it once we arrive at the lake and put it in the water. The only issues we have is with the oare system and the elevated seat supports. The oars have to be positionned in their brackets and they tend to get in the way when fishing, expecially fly fishing. We designed a system to attach them to the top of the pontoons, while better that the brackets, they are still in the way. As for the elevated seat supports, some of the screws that hold the top plate came off and gave me a nice tumble off the seat! We secured it with new srews. I will continue buying SE products.

Frankly I bought this on a whim. Timing has not helped. However, I have a plan and will put it tonight the water for the first time in July. I’ll get back to you after my first excursion

We purchased the 375fc in Oct.of 2023 and only got to use the boat a couple of times. This year we used it numerous times and I absolutely love it. I feal safe and comfortable. all so I would like to say if I had to do it over again I would not hesitate to purchase this boat. I absolutely love this boat. Thank you for making this great product.

We have a small pond that the boat is perfect for. It is a stable fishing platform making it easy to use whether it is with one or two people. We have fly fished, rod and reel fished, and have had good luck and gotten skunked from it. What else could you ask for?

I bought my Foldcat in 2006 and it's still going strong. I've had to put a patch or two on her over the years. I use it all the time, about to take it to a week long fishing trip. The picture I added is a lake with primative camping, where we load the boat and row the gear/supplies to the far side of the lake. I tell people all the time that this was the best $ I've ever spent on recreation. THIS BOAT DOESN'T OWE ME A DIME.

This is my second Foldcat, my first one was the original. Adding a larger deck, stand up bar and multi chambers is a great upgrade. My original lasted 15 years and I sold it as good as new, never had a puncture. These boats are tough as nails. My boat as you can see is completely fitted. I moved the stand up bar to the rear for me to get in and out of easier. I suffered a brain injury and I have trouble with my balance. I have a lithium ion battery that lasts me days and is half the weight of a lead acid. A 55lb thrust motor is plenty for me to enjoy a great day on the water. I have rivers, lakes and ocean in my area and this boat has seen all types of water bodies. You can fit this boat with as much as you like unlike other boats in the seaeagle line up. I have ten rod holders on my boat. You will not regret purchasing this boat, affordable and versatile.

One season in and we are loving this fishing boat. I built a handy wheel kit for launching it and a clamp on tongue so I can tow it from the campsite to the boat launch and back... which completely disassembles for easy storage in the pickup box with the packed up boat. The 70lb thrust trolling motor was an excellent choice and we have found we can be out on the water for hours and never run the battery down. We have two tiny chihuahuas that ride on the boat with us and they like it better than the canoe we had before. I picked up a snowboard bag to carry all the aluminum pieces as well as the canopy in and an electronic keyboard bag for carrying the trolling motor in so everything sits nicely in the truck box and doesn't roll around. If anybody wants to see more pictures of the wheel kit, feel free to contact me.

Love the boat, I made a modification to make steering with the electric motor more comfortable by moving the rear seat mount to the right side on the inside of the pontoon . I found steering to be difficult and uncomfortable in the center line . position. The boat is easy to setup and take down and very versatile for the different waters I use it in. The water snake motor is powerful and very responsive.
