First off I want to commend Sea Eagle's customer support, I bought a used FastCat12 in 2023 listed on the site, and on the first trip I discovered a small leak. I called customer service, and after a few quick pics and a video upload, they concluded it was a defect and sent me brand new boat! Needless to say I was very pleased, and appreciate how well they stand behind their products.

Being a city guy, having room to store a boat is hard to come by. This boat fully set up on a small modified kayak trailer can easily fit in my one-car sized storage unit and is always ready to go. If you're the DIY type, customization on this boat can be pretty extensive, I added additional gear mounts, built a bow mount to install an Autoboat GPS trolling motor, and have it all powered by a mercury 6HP which easily cruises 13-15mph. That's fast enough to cover the major inlets and back bays in South NJ. I thought this boat was going to be good when I got it, and I quickly realized it was even better than what I was expecting!
