I decided to invest in the new inflatable drop stitch floor for my STS10. My objective was to reduce weight and to simplify setup.

The weight reduce was a little disappointing. Net savings was 13# but I did keep the slide in brackets for the seats (can save an additional 3# if you opt not to use these).

As far as installing the new floor, a lot simpler than the original wood floors. Should reduce installation time by at least 5 minutes and save some back strain.

An additional note when attaching the seat to the frame, the holes were slightly smaller where they had to be drilled out for the provided bolts to be used.

I’ve had my STS10 for 4 years now without any deterioration. I also have two 285fpb’s. I love them all. Sea Eagle has been great.

So overall, I give the weight reduction a 8 score and the ease of installation a 10. I highly recommend this to anyone with a STS10.
