The function, form and feel that Sea Eagle has managed to pack into this light and durable frame is nothing short of stunning. Fully and smartly packed up, it practically fits into a standard backpack. Fully inflated it's so light and easily wielded you can grab it by the center deck strap and fling it over your shoulder without a care... walking it any distance necessary with ease to your launching site. Inflation time and burden as it compares to similar platforms is an afterthought. It cuts across the surface of the water like a hot knife through warm butter, despite the fact that the design is a compromise between stability and speed, they've somehow made it feel like it's as fast as a hull designed specifically for speed, even though you don't feel like you're going to tip over if you're not paying attention. I wouldn't take it out on whitewater, but if you're just cruising your way across a casual day float, it's hard to imagine a more practically and purposefully designed option.
