I purchased the 380X in the late fall and wait to wait until the following year to use it. Over the winter, I practiced inflating, deflating and putting it away. practice has paid off.

About the kayak:

- portability: I'm a 6'0 235lbs male in decent shape. I found carrying the bag, manageable. When inflated, it's kind of awkward to carry off the ground for long distances.

On the water:

- It handles smooth. Really easy to maneuver and turn

-Tracking and acceleration is impressive

- The stability is top tier. I was able to stand up while in the middle of the lake with ease - impressive.

-I like how the paddle extension has measured markers

- I got the upgraded carbon seat - Amazing back support

The only critique I have is the 3 floor straps. They don't even fit to secure the drop stitch floor - they are too short.

- I had to jerry-rig straps of my own to compliment the straps that were included.

Overall, it's an amazing kayak.
