This 300x is my second Sea Eagle. My previous 465FT served our family on countless camping trips for over 10 years and still fetched a good resale price. Now the kids are grown and I'm still kayaking. I needed a smaller craft for solo trips. The 300x is portable and easy to set up. It's super tough, barely showing wear after a summer full of kayaking many shallow rivers. I have never felt unsafe on large river or lake chop. It is easy to paddle and very maneuverable. The price, though not cheep, was reasonable. I'm 60ish and I am confident this boat will last my remaining kayaking years.
