I had the original paddleski which was great but the new model is superior in every way. The inflatable floor and seat configuration make it great for cruising around the lake. I use it mainly for fishing and it is real handy for getting into shallow water. Sea Eagle customer service is very helpful with very short response time. There are two issues that I should mention. The transom is much better tan the old strap I had on the previous model but the problem is that once you use it for a while it is practically impossible to get it out of the brackets. This makes it heavier to load in my pick up and also takes up a lot more room to store since you can't fold it up. Also, I don't like the locking swivel seats. They are a pain when you are turning from side to side because you are constantly unlatching the seat. I put regular boat seats on mine. Other than those issues I am super happy with the paddleski.
