This is our second SeaEagle kayak. The first, a SE 220, was a good beginning inflatable kayak. However the 385ft is a much different and vastly improved kayak. Apples and oranges...

The 385ft sets up quickly and is a dream to paddle. It’s a great addition to our recreation equipment and we look forward to many paddling trips in the future.

Thank you Sea Eagle for producing a top quality, fun to use inflatable kayak.

Love the boat, excellent design, quality product, tracks very well, easy to inflate!

My problem

The seats shift and move getting to a uncomfortable position?

Do you have a video about proper seat positioning?

Unfortunately after only two uses my boat has a hole in it. :( Patching it but still disappointed in this!

Used 385ft a few times. Upgraded seats, paddles and hand pump—recommend. Set up in 10-15 minutes; tear down (drying) 20-30. Can’t get the volume down to less than twice it was when it arrived in a box.

On water, the 385 is a dream—comfortable, stable, tracks well. We’ve been out in the wind with hard shell kayakers who feared for their safety and turned back; we were like “Really? This breeze is upsetting your vessel?”

We are both over 6’ and nearly 70. The 385’s low sides make for easy paddling. He has plenty of room in the back, but I tend to hit my knees when paddling. One gripe—Deluxe front seat bottom slides forward when paddling, so I end up leaning backwards—husband may be pushing me. Strap adjustments are limited by moorings, buckles, etc. so I can’t make it more secure.
